Born in 1964, Alfred Derek is the third of six siblings. He has spent his entire life in California, between the sunny beaches of Los Angeles and the damp alleys of the city's underworld. He always dreamed of becoming a private investigator so he could... make a difference in his own way!
Together with his secretary Gina, he takes on daring adventures, but it’s with criminologist Brigitta Diaz that he shares challenging investigations and... even a bolder attempt at romance!
Unfortunately, Brigitta is too focused on her work to notice him. Or perhaps... she made sure to run for the hills after yet another mess Derek got her into!
